Lake District Hillwalking Club

We are the Lake District Hillwalking Club and we are based in The Neale area.  We are a friendly social bunch and are actively seeking new members who, like us, enjoy spending time in the great outdoors.

Yearly membership is €30

Day visitor option at a cost of €5, a small cost for a wonderful day out!!

What Do We Do?

The Club aims to provide walks which are off the beaten path and suitable for all levels of fitness.  We have one high level hill walk each month, and one low level cross country walk.  The hill walks can be strenuous and we would advise newcomers to try out the low level walks before attempting higher climbs.

When Do We Meet?

We meet the first and third Sunday in the month.  The location of the meetings varies, full details are posted on our annual walking calendar which can be accessed via our website.  We also post regular walk updates on our Facebook page.
