Foroige

A youth club affiliated to the national Foróige organisation.  The purpose of Foróige is to enable young people to involve themselves consciously and actively in their development and in the development of society.

What Do We Do?

Cong Foróige Club  is a safe place for young people to

hang out, meet new friends and have a voice. It is run by the young people themselves with the help of Adult Leaders. This allows them to believe in themselves, make decisions and practice leadership.

The club night begins with a formal or informal meeting, led by the club committee to make decisions about the club. Then members decide if they want to work on a project based on Foróige’s education programmes, organise trips, discos or just hang out with their friends, enjoying games or activities.

When Do We Meet?

Cong Foróige Club meets once a week on Friday nights from 8pm to 10pm
