St Stephen’s Day Walk a Success Despite the Rain

Over 70 people braved the weather for this years St Stephen’s day walk. Beginning at the Crossroads Community centre the hardy group were led on a guided walk through Cong Village, The Abbey, Cong Woods, Guinness Tower and back through the grounds of Ashford Castle.
Along the way historical, archaeological and ecological talks were delivered giving a unique perspective on the many hidden gems in Cong.
The walk finished with well deserved hot tea, coffee and goodies in the Crossroads.
